About
I am an award winning director who makes ambitious and compelling documentaries which bring big audiences to important stories. I enjoy making layered films with purpose which keep the complexity of human experience at their heart. The documentaries I direct are authentic and cinematic in style and tone.
My work has been recognised by BAFTA, RTS Journalism and Programme awards as well as the Grierson Trust and consistently receive four and five star reviews. They are also highly rated - The Search for Nicola Bulley was one of the top three most watched factual programmes on the BBC in 2024.
I started my career in current affairs and then moved into documentaries to work with Louis Theroux, but then made my break as a director when I was selected for the BBC’s New Director’s Scheme.
My latest project, a single for Channel 4 will broadcast later this year.
